Everything will still work. As a matter of fact you could get one of those aftermarket tuners, or go to your local Ford dealer, and change the rear gear ratio in the computer too. You don’t have too but you may notice some small irregularitys in your upshifts.
you will be fine your speed-o will be off. buy your self a programer thet will let you adj. the speed-o .( also your shift points)
Have fun. Race on the track not the street.
It will work but it won’t stay in first for long.
It will be reving at 4000rpm at 60mph and the spedo will be out heaps.
as mentioned your speedo will be way off.. you will need to get a tuner to recalibrate it… other wise everything will be fine, you do know that 4:10s are very tall gears, if you drive you car on the highways or take long trips in it you might want to go with a 3:55 or a 3:73 the taller the gear the higher the engine will run and your top speed will be reduced. you will use alot more gas as you cruise at higher speeds since the engine will be at a lot higher rpm.
