Am planning to buy a new 09 acoord coupe or a new 09 altima coupe, but I just drove a 08 mustang gt n I liked it a lot, the problem is dat the mustang gt’s are v8 and that’s a problem because of gas prices are still high!! So how much mpg does a mustang gt get?

I got 13 -14 mpg with mostly city driving. On the road, I got around 20 as I recall.

good luck.

If you want gas mileage, don’t buy a Mustang. Mustangs are for style, not conserving.

better than you think. I have an 04 Cobra with a Kenne Bell supercharger on it making 595 horsepower to the rear wheels and I get 14/15 around town and 24-25 on the highway. No lie.

according to the actual window sticker of a 2008 Mustang GT (manual Trans):

Vehicle Engine Information

Actual mileage will vary with options, driving conditions, driving habits and vehicle’s condition. Results reported to EPA indicate that the majority of vehicles with these estimates will achieve between 12 and 18 mpg in the city and between 19 and 27 mpg on the highway.
For Comparison Shopping all vehicles classified as Subcompacts have been issued mileage ratings from 10 to 29 mpg city and 15 to 36 mpg highway.

You can compare it with the other vehicles that you mentioned from Fords website. See the side-by-side comparison:

(you can change around the vehicles if you want to)
