Lets just agree that this is a fantastic film in every way-so moody!- and lets hope the US uses its brains to move forward, not backwards. well obviously you can go sideways with 400hp…i was talking to the guy with only 180 hp in his XR7. He also said that he could take a corner at an intersection at 45 and not slide at all. And i completely agree that the driver makes the car. but the car helps alot too. and yeah it might be a little harder than i made it out to be haha.

My Trans Am has over 400HP and believe me, it can go sideways. Controlling a car when you lose rear traction isn’t as easy as you make it out to be. Sure, maybe counter steering the car isn’t brain surgery as you go through a power-slide, but you have to be able to enter and exit the slide cleanly, no sweeping shit. And it’s not impossible to take a turn at 45, but good luck keeping full traction the whole time too. And yes I do believe it’s the driver that makes the car.

Even Americans must admit this is when their society was at its peak creatively. With the moon landings etc. the US could knock the shoes off anybody. Now watching a film like this just reminds me how the US has fallen artistically, and in fact every other way. This film knocks the socks off anything made contemporary. It is so tight in every way. no i havent seen any car take a 90 degree turn at 45 mph…nobody can do that is why i say your full of shit. I have driven plenty of cars and none of them can do what you say…no matter how low your car is…stop talking like you know what your talking about. and your car can barely go sideways…you have like maybe 180hp and keeping a car straight while drifting is possibly the easiest thing to do and is the first thing you learn if you want to really drive

By the way if I talked about sliding my rear end of the car out that is walking the car down the street with the back end spinning the tires to the side while keeping the car going down the road straight. That is not easy to do nor is it very common because when a cars back end tends to slide out to the side the avg person which might include you wouldnt know what to do to keep the car going straight down the road even with the end kicked out to the side.

But either way my whole point when I made that was about its the driver that makes a car you can put a novice behind the wheel of a first class race car and put a first class race car driver behind a street car and they will 9 times out of 10 still win because if you dont know how to handle your car you cant push your car to shave time off. Oh so youve seen a Honda come up to a intersection and take that right angle turn at 45 or 50 mph without sliding? Because my car didnt slide it wont slide because of how heavy the car is and the car has a low factory heigth so the weight is all low. I will admit the tires squeeled like in this movie but the car didnt slide I can asure you that. Secondly I have yet to see a import follow me making that right angle turn at speeds of over 30 mph.

lol theres lots and lots more mistakes then that in this chase. First I think they pass by like 3 or 4 bettles ( the car ). The Rearview mirror in the chargers car is always pointing towards the passenger. And A certain point you can see Mcqueen chewing on gum in his rearview mirror and the driver of the charger doesnt always have glasses( look in mirror)
