This Mustang is an absolute dream, however it does suffer from poor handling around corners. Shelby should have replaced Ford’s stock axle, like they have done before or Ford could modernize their rear suspension for all future RWD models.
I love my ‘05 Mustang. But in the 45 years Mustang has been in prduction only the ‘03&’04Cobra’s had independent rear suspension.
Just be glad that if Ford doesn’t change it, you can out run your opponent out of the corner.
It’s good looking …
It’s good looking and sound great, but so does any Mustang. If you give an American engineer a hundred thousand dollars to work with, they’ll come up with something vastly superior than a European engineer who uses five times as much money. Sadly, the modern day Shelby GT500KR is the only exception to that rule. It’s a horrible car and there’s many more cars that can drive circles around it, and for less price. Buy yourself a Vette or a Viper.

i mean look in the 60s and 80s-current mustang has outsold camaro even though the camaro really has more fans and is just as well made as the mustang and has always had better stock performance. i mean look at the chevy ss it was 40k something like that would have been 25k if it was a ford. anyways lets not even argue it time will tell and if they are the same price i’ll buy a camaro even though im a mustang person the new camaro is baddddddd ass

i thought the base price of the camaro is going to be 25k on the other hand i can go pick up a mustang at 18k and actually cheaper after discounts. at year end clearance my dad almost bought a v8 convertable 5 speed for 26k but then he ended up buying a bulldozer instead XD. i know the mustang will go up but i doubt it will be the same price as the camaro because it never has in the past. but again for the money you are getting just as good value if not better in the camaro.

haha we don’t know which one is the best till they come out but at no point in time was the camaro cheaper than the mustang nor is the new one a camaro is going to be 5-10k higher for smililar hp on every level but i’ll give the camaro one thing the suspension and breaks are going to be bad 50/50 wieght brembo breaks and 4 wheel independant so its going to be higher priced but your getting what you pay for for once. well im a mustang guy regardless but the kr is overpriced

eh, I drove the GT500 and GT500KR, and they’re only fun when you go into a corner really fast, and spin the out of the tires. Other than that, wait for the Camaro SS.
