I made this redesign on the base of the new GT500 KR. Inspiration was also my 69er Mach 1 and the 67er Model. The Goal was to make the Mustang meaner, stronger and sharper looking. Ready to compete with the upcomming Camaro

Rocketman24605 s281 only means the s stands for saleen and the 281 is the size or cubic inches in the motor- the 427r is also the size of the motor in that model mustang-although some model saleens are supercharged and won’t indicate it but the newer model saleens are normally supercharged

catback is not the size of the exhaust tubing the size is simply 2 .5 inch to 3 inch - catback comes from the way the pipes bend and twist going through the tail end or rear suspension of the car which also comes from a term called “Mandrel Bent Tubing”in which a technician who’s last name being Mandrel designed long ago and discovered that this system scavenges exhaust out the rear giving a little performance and nice sound-it started with muscle cars and a lot of imports use this system now

i love all these cars… however they need to update the handling… My 1991 explorer has “essentially” the same rear axle as the latest generation mustangs. Americans need to get away from the fast in a straight line mentality to compete with the european cars of today…….. just my .02. don’t get me wrong, theres nothing like the sound of an American V8…
