Joe asked: Im thinking about buying a mustang really soon. we’ve called the insurance companies and got the price down really low. i got a summer job and saved up 8 grand. my dad plans on paying a little also. But I think my budget is going to be 12,000. But 12 is the highest and last resort. I’ve seen mustang Gt’s under 10 for around 48,000 miles to 98,000. im keeping a close eye on 10 mustangs right now on autotrader. but If i was to get one with 98,000 on it would that last me. i hear its how the owner took care of it not how many miles it has. Is this true? or should i just wait and find a good one with lower miles and just pay around 10 grand or a little higher. i want the car to last me a while. i dont mind doing some work on it if it needs some but not major problems. im looking at 1999-2002 mustang Gt’s. What should i look for when buying one. what are things i should look out for?

Y_ A asked: I’ve just got an 05 mustang GT automatic transmission. Looking for something that will NOT kill my engine with time and not TOO loud. About 200-250 hp is good enough. Just keep in mind that I’m very new to this business. Thanks in advance…

david d asked: the back bumper says mustang gt and it has the 4.6 gt decal but those could easily be placed there. The reason i ask is becaues i heard it run and it has a flowmaster exhaust and it sounded pretty weak, im just wondering if theres a way to look at the actual engine and tell for sure its the 4.6 gt not a 6. thanks alot.1

alter_ego asked: I own a 99′ Mustang GT and wanted to switch out the floor console for a newer model. Reason for that is that it annoys the hell out of me when I can’t place a cup in the holder without tipping it when changing gears. Has anyone encountered this, or am i all alone on this one? Anyways, I wanted to know where can i find one other than Ebay or at a salvage yard. If any one knows of such a place, I would really appreciate it.
